Kellogg Company Listens to Consumers, Helps Farmers, Relieves Hunger as Highlighted in New Report

In honor of World Environment Day on June 5, Kellogg Company is pleased to share its ninth annual Global Corporate Responsibility Report, now available online at www.KelloggCompany.com. As a company with a heart and soul, Kellogg does more than simply make foods people love. They care about nourishing consumers, feeding those in need, nurturing the planet and living the values of founder, W.K. Kellogg.

The report provides a look at Kellogg’s performance and future direction in the areas of marketplace, workplace, environment, responsible sourcing and community.

Highlights from the report include:

  • Helping combat global climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its operations by 65 percent by 2050, as well as conserving natural resources in its operations.
  • Working with our partners to help improve the livelihoods of farming families and communities who grow our ingredients through initiatives that address social, economic and environmental issues.
  • Listening to and focusing on consumers, striving to meet their changing needs and preferences, including reducing sodium and sugar, and removing artificial colors and flavors from some of its foods.
  • Donating more than 1.4 billion servings of cereal and snacks to feed children and families in need, through its Breakfasts for Better Days™ global signature cause, thus exceeding the goal to provide 1 billion servings by 2016.
