A few of BG Group’s performance actions during 2008 are outlined below:
244 000 tonnes of annualised sustainable GHG emission reductions achieved in 2008 against the 2012 GHG target; 6% (534 000 tonnes) decrease in absolute carbon dioxide equivalent emissions from operations under BG Group’s control; 75% increase in Speak Up (whistleblowing) cases following an awareness-raising campaign; and 92% of BG Group-operated assets certified to ISO 14001.
