SEGRO plc has just published its fifth Corporate Responsibility Report which can be downloaded from the website www.segro.com/segro/Responsibility/CRReports. Further supporting performance data can also be found on the website.
The report provides detailed information about SEGRO’s economic, social and environmental performance during 2007 and highlights the Company’s progress towards its targets. The report also highlights key programmes and projects undertaken during 2007.
Highlights from this year’s report include:
commissioning a carbon footprint study of the Slough Trading Estate to help manage carbon emissions hosting a contractor workshop to engage with contractors on the Company’s approach to environmental management achieving the Company’s highest ever customer satisfaction rating increasing the number of employee volunteers by 76 per cent
Challenges from this year’s report include:
the roll out of corporate responsibility standards across the European business and ensuring best practices are embedded developing a systematic engagement programme with key stakeholders
