HSBC, the world’s second largest bank, has decided that it will no longer hold shares on behalf of clients in Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS).The shares, held in nominee accounts, represent less than one per cent of the market value of the product and ingredient testing group. Meanwhile, HLS has expressed disappointment that the government has delayed the introduction of laws to curb the activities of animal rights campaigners.
