ProLogis (NYSE:PLD), the world's largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities, has released its second annual Sustainability Report, available at http://ir.prologis.com/investors/index.cfm.

The report provides detailed information about ProLogis' economic, social and environmental performance during 2007. Written according to guidelines for reporting at the B+ level for the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and independently reviewed by csrnetwork, the report documents company progress in reaching performance targets set in 2006, including:

Utilization of 20 percent recycled construction materials, based on cost, at all new distribution centers by 2010;
Diversion of 75 percent of construction debris from disposal in landfills or incinerators by 2010;
A 50 percent reduction in the use of potable water in landscape irrigation at all new developments by 2010, in accordance with the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED program;
Installation of renewable energy sources with combined generation capacity of more than 25 million KWh per year by 2010, equivalent to the power required for more than 2,300 U.S. homes; and
Expansion of the company's carbon footprint measurement and carbon offset program from North American operations in 2006 to include the company's global business operations.

The report describes recent key initiatives including the company's partnership with Energy Star and a pilot rooftop solar installation project in Southern California.
