Centex Corporation (NYSE:CTX), one of the largest U.S. home builders, has released its first Corporate Responsibility Report, emphasizing the Company’s commitments to sound governance, good corporate citizenship and responsible building practices. Centex is the first production-level homebuilder in the United States to issue a report of this kind, continuing the Company’s efforts to provide transparency in its business practices and demonstrating that the people of Centex understand the firm’s responsibility as corporate citizens in the communities it serves.
The Company’s approach to this year’s report was guided by the Global Reporting Initiative’s G3 Guidelines. The report explains the Company’s core values, business practices and governance policies as well as commitments related to use of resources and citizenship.
