Building on its 100-year heritage of corporate citizenship, Kellogg Company is pleased to announce its first global Corporate Responsibility Report, available at www.kelloggcompany.com/CR.

Kellogg Company’s Corporate Responsibility Report uses the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G3 Guidelines, which provide a recommended framework and indicators for reporting. Kellogg is reporting at a GRI-checked application level of “B.”

The report provides a transparent and comprehensive accounting of Kellogg’s progress, challenges and future direction in four key areas: environment, marketplace, workplace and community.

Environment
Kellogg Company strives to conduct business in a way that reduces the total environmental impact of its products and operations. In conjunction with its inaugural report, Kellogg has set a goal of 15 - 20 percent reductions in energy use, greenhouse gas emissions, water use and waste per ton of food produced by 2015, relative to 2005 baselines.

Marketplace
Kellogg fully delivered on its commitment to shift products marketed to kids under 12 to only those that meet the Kellogg Global Nutrient Criteria. Looking ahead, Kellogg Company will focus on several areas within the marketplace, including expanding nutritious food choices as well as consumer information and education.

Workplace
Kellogg Company will continue to provide learning and development opportunities for its employees and invest further in diversity and inclusion programs and recruitment to keep building a work force that is representative of consumer demographics.

Community
Kellogg Company provides financial support, resources and food to the communities in which it operates - and beyond. Through Kellogg’s Corporate Citizenship Fund, the company has donated more than $40 million in cash and $120 million in products to charitable organizations in the last five years.  Future activities will include even greater emphasis on those programs that align with our objectives as a global food company.
