The Danfoss Group announced the release of its Corporate Citizenship Report. The 2008 report is structured in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative and profiles the Company’s commitment to be environmentally and socially responsible.

The report focus on the Company’s policies and work within the areas Human Rights, Society Impact, Labour Rights, Environment and Product Responsibility and contains the Company’s progress against GRI indicators and United Nations Global Compact principles.
The Corporate Citizenship report features case stories on suppliers’ compliance to human rights issues and the use of imprisoned labour. The report furthermore details the newly issued climate strategy of the Danfoss Group, the Groups’ carbon emissions and efforts to reduce its energy use and emissions.
