Nestlé coffee brand Nescafé has joined forces with coffee producers in Columbia to support farmers in the country. The company’s UK operation will provide four million coffee trees in partnership with the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia, as well as training and technical assistance to 1,200 coffee farmers over the next year. The initiative is part of Nescafé’s global plan, launched last year, to invest more than £200m in projects that ensure the long-term sustainability of coffee-growing worldwide.
