The Global Compact has been introduced in Iran at the country’s first international CSR Congress. Participants agreed to build the capacity of business and civil society to advance responsible business in Iran; raise awareness of CSR activities in the Iranian business community and society; and provide incentives for business to conduct CSR activities voluntarily in Iran. Participants will evaluate progress during the second congress, scheduled for February 2013.
