Revised sustainability reporting guidelines for the oil and gas sector have been published by three industry associations – IPIECA, API and OGP.  The second edition of the guidance, which was first produced in 2005, has been drawn up in conjunction with firms such as Marathon, BG Group, BP, Chevron, Eni, and Hess. It will be aligned with, and run parallel to, the Global Reporting Initiative’s oil and gas sector supplement, which is due by the end of 2011.
