Aegon, one of the world’s largest life insurance and pensions companies, has appointed executive vice-president Marc van Weede to the new post of global head of sustainability, reporting to the chief executive. Van Weede has previously served as head of Aegon’s group business development department and has been president of the company’s joint venture in China.
