An anti-CSR group has been set up in the US. The Consumers Alliance for Global Prosperity has been established by the right-wing Institute for Liberty, a non-profit body dedicated to ‘protecting entrepreneurship worldwide’. The new group argues that CSR policies and programmes ‘are discriminatory, morally wrong and amount to complete and utter social irresponsibility’.
