The UK building company Crest Nicholson has introduced a carbon-capping scheme for all its company cars. Employees due to receive a company car will get a 20 per cent uplift in their allowance if they choose a car with low carbon emissions, with the option of reclaiming any remaining part of the allowance in cash.
