The UK’s first ‘socially responsible’ train operator has introduced its debut route. Go!, which is also the first UK rail company to run as a co-operative, will start a Yeovil to Oxford service this month. It aims to ‘reduce the social and environmental impacts of travel’ and to give passengers and workers a 75 per cent share of the vote at its AGM.
