A case brought against Unilever for alleged breaches of the OECD Guidelines on Multinational Enterprises has been closed after a three year investigation. The UK’s National Contact Point for the guidelines  said the dispute, which revolved around alleged labour rights violations in India, has now been resolved after lengthy talks between the company and the International Union of Food, Agricultural, Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, Tobacco and Allied Workers’ Association, which had filed the complaint.
