Government officials and senior business executives from around the British Commonwealth have issued a communique stressing the importance of corporate responsibility. The document, issued at the end of the recent Commonwealth Business Forum in Trinidad, says ‘good ethical standards and transparency in the economy’ are ‘morally right’ as well as beneficial to business. The forum, held every two years, attracted 1000 delegates.
