Three major private security industry associations have agreed to help develop an international code of conduct for private military security companies.
The Pan-African Security Association, the British Association of Private Security Companies, and the International Peace Operations Association have all agreed to work on the code, which was first proposed by the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of the Armed Forces earlier this year (EP10, issue 9, p8).
