One of the Middle East’s biggest oil producers, Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), has announced a three-year corporate responsibility programme. Over the three year period, KNPC aims to deliver a CSR report, start a volunteers’ programme, reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, and become one of the first companies in the world to use the ISO26000 standard on social responsibility due to be introduced in 2010.
