Business gets advice on how to treat lower castes

The International Dalit Solidarity Network has published the Dalit Discrimination Check, a tool to guide companies in preventing discrimination and exploitation of people considered to be of low caste in their operations in India, including their suppliers.

The tool is intended to be a comprehensive checklist consisting of questions and indicators that highlight possible violations. Additionally, there is a link giving access to other relevant publications, including the Ambedkar Principles for companies operating in south India.
