Sander van Eijkern has become the new chief executive of Sustainable Asset Management (SAM), which provides research for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes. Van Eijkern succeeds SAM founder Reto Ringger, who announced his departure in the autumn. Van Eijkern moves from Robeco Asset Management, where he was managing director of alternative investments. He remains a member of Robeco’s management board, with responsibility for private equity, hedge funds and sustainability.
