London-based Coutts bank has introduced a pilot service to advise its rich private clients on donating to environmental causes. The new Environment Advisory Service will suggest ‘giving strategies’ for philanthropists via an independent environment advisory panel and a series of regular reports. Coutts recently introduced a similar scheme on microfinance projects.
