There are now 50 signatories to the European SRI Transparency Guidelines, which were established in 2004 to make ethical and ecological SRI retail funds more accountable to the investing public. Eurosif, the creator, says 14 of them have been granted use of the guidelines’ logo, among them Dexia AM (Belgium), Friends Provident (UK), Kepler Fonds KAG (Germany), UBS AM (Switzerland), and two funds domiciled in Italy, Aurio Gestioni and Banca Etica. The logo was created in May 2008 and is awarded to asset managers that conform with the guidelines.
