Seven companies, including Heidelberg Cement and Hitachi Metals, have been deleted from the FTSE4Good Index for failing to meet its new climate change criteria. In all, 15 companies were removed following last month’s review. Out of the 41 new entrants, the largest number – 12 – were from the UK, followed by 11 from Japan.
