Small firms are most likely to seek advice on corporate responsibility from trade associations, a poll suggests.

Of 100 director-level decision makers in small and medium-sized enterprises, 44 said they would turn first to trade bodies, slightly ahead of government agencies (42) and consultancies (40). Only 25 said they would approach an NGO.

The poll was commissioned by SEE Potential, the UK company behind an ethical accreditation scheme for smaller firms (EP9, issue 4, p6).
