UK construction company HBG has stepped up its corporate responsibility commitment by appointing Caroline Cook to the new role of head of CSR. Cook has joined from Business in the Community, where she was development and business support director and was instrumental in creating Bitc’s Corporate Responsibility Index. HBG, with £880million ($1.8billion) sales, is part of the European construction company Royal BAM Group.
