Better ways of implementing ethical supply chain codes are to be explored in a new project created by John Ruggie, the UN special representative for business and human rights, and the Clean Clothes Campaign. The two will recommend how companies can best set up social audits, grievance procedures, stakeholder consultation and public reporting. The work is being funded by Oxfam and the Netherlands government.
