The UK government is to distribute money to social enterprises through a £10million ($20m) Social Enterprise Risk Capital Investment fund. The fund, established by the Cabinet Office, will supplement what the government feels is a lack of risk capital available for social enterprises, which are businesses run primarily for social objectives.
