Nineteen companies operating in Jamaica, including the Bank of Nova Scotia, Cable & Wireless, GraceKennedy and Red Stripe, have undertaken to address workplace discrimination against HIV and Aids sufferers. They have formed the Jamaica Business Council on HIV/Aids with $100,000 (£52,000) from the pharmaceuticals company Merck.
