Harry Hummels has become professor of ethics, organization and society at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Hummels was previously SRI professor at Nyenrode University, also in the Netherlands. Part of his brief is to set up a body called Maastricht Organizational Research in Ethics and Society to examine corporate responsibility issues. Hummels, whose Maastricht job is part-time, has also been appointed a director of SNS Reaal Group, the Netherlands-based asset manager that specializes in sustainable asset management. He is relinquishing his role as an SRI director of ING Bank.
