Google has taken on Elliot Schrage in a public affairs role that
encompasses ‘stakeholder outreach and policy strategy’. Prior to
joining the internet search engine company, Schrage was an adviser to
several global companies on corporate social responsibility, as well as
a fellow in business and foreign policy at the New York-based Council
on Foreign Relations. Before taking on this largely academic role, he
was at Gap, where he managed the clothing retailer’s ethical supply
chain work.
