The executive appointed by Russian aluminium company Rusal to head its corporate responsibility programme has stepped down after only three months in the job. The business said sustainability director Duncan Hedditch, who had moved to the key post from a senior position in Rusal Australia (EP7, issue 5, p7), had resigned for ‘personal reasons’. Hedditch has been replaced by Oleg Burkatskiy, who was previously managing director of Rusal’s Sayanogorsk plant in Russia.
