Intel has won the first-ever CSR Management Award from Business Ethics magazine in the US. The computer chip company, which has 90,000 employees and a turnover of $34billion (£19.61bn), received the award for its ‘leadership position’ on ethical supply chain management in the electronics sector. Intel was commended for its work to help create the Electronics Industry Code of Conduct (see page two).
