MTV premiered a made-for-TV film on HIV/Aids last month that will be offered free to all broadcasters. The two-hour film, Transit, will be aired in 45 of the 50 worst affected countries, including Botswana, Russia and South Africa. Made to be entertaining rather than purely informational, the film has so far been translated into 13 languages and is part of MTV’s Staying Alive communications campaign on HIV/Aids prevention.
