The chief executive of Danish pharmaceuticals company Novo Nordisk has won this year's Sustainability Leadership Award. Lars Rebien Sorensen was singled out by the judges of the annual award for making sustainability a key issue for  the company during recent years. The sister Pioneer Award went to Bob Welsh, chief executive of the Australian pension fund VicSuper, which has become an SRI leader in Australia. The awards are run by Swiss-based Sustainable Asset Management.
