The Fairtrade Foundation, which runs the Fairtrade Mark, has engaged The Forster Company to raise public awareness of fair trade and to increase sales of products. The Forster Company, which describes itself as an 'ethical marketing communications company', will work with the foundation during the next two years to provide brand and communications consultancy services. It has also signed a deal to advise Shared Interest, a co-operative lending society providing finance to fair trade businesses around the world.
