Henderson Global Investors has published the first report to reveal carbon emissions from the UK's 100 largest companies. It shows that five sectors - oil and gas, electricity, mining, steel and leisure - generate 85 per cent of direct carbon emissions among the 100, although they account for only 29 per cent of market capitalization.
