The first meeting of the Asia Pacific Task Force Outreach Group was held by conference call in April. The group is an initiative of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative, a global partnership between the UN Environment Programme and the private financial sector. It consists of eight Unepfi signatories and five partner organizations.
Research, outreach and training were discussed as potential activities during the conference call. One of the group’s initial actions will be to share a calendar of events on the Unepfi website to enable better co-operation and information-sharing by signatories and other interested organizations.
