The attitudes of Chinese corporations will be studied and discussed at a forum in Shanghai on 1 and 2 June.

Delegates will consider the relevance of in-house training for suppliers and the sharing of expertise, and will look at programmes to strengthen health and safety policies and the management of employees. They will ask how company managers are dealing with new challenges such as HIV and Aids and will examine the universities’ role in helping with supply chain issues in China.

The Forum for Compliance in the Global Supply Chain is open to the directors of Chinese and international companies committed to compliance, senior managers responsible for carrying out these policies, and the partners of corporates, including universities, non-profit training organizations and local government bodies.

The sponsors of the forum include the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, the Shanghai Enterprise Confederation and the universities of Shanghai and Tsinghua.
