A former Deloitte Consulting senior partner is to head a Financial Inclusion Taskforce created by the UK government to monitor the progress of banks and building societies on providing services for poorer people. Brian Pomeroy, a board member of the Social Market Foundation, will chair the
12-member task force of representatives from financial services, the voluntary sector and academia.
