Sports clothing companies Puma and Umbro are being targeted over their suppliers’ workplace conditions by a joint campaign, linked to this year’s Olympic Games in Athens, that has been mounted in the UK by Oxfam, the Trades Union Congress and the Labour Behind the Label pressure group. Play Fair at the Olympics urges people to email the companies to complain about poor working practices that it claims are commonplace at some suppliers.
