Former eBay president Jeff Skoll is to give $7.5million (£4.3m) to Oxford University’s Said Business School to establish a centre for social entrepreneurs. He will donate the money through the US-based Skoll Foundation, which he created in 1999 to foster business practices that trigger social change. The Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship will support social ventures, offer MBA scholarships to social entrepreneurs and carry out research.
