Hewlett-Packard (Canada) has put up C$2million (US$1.54m, £910,000) to create a chair in corporate social responsibility at Toronto’s Schulich School of Business at York University.
The incumbent will conduct research, teach CSR-related courses, and try to ‘define emerging CSR issues’.
The Schulich School was recently identified by the World Resources Institute and the Aspen Institute as one of the world’s six ‘cutting-edge’ business schools in its approach to CSR.
