Royal Bank of Scotland has produced its first corporate social responsibility report. The unverified document concentrates on community investment and environmental protection, but the company says it will cover a much wider range of issues in future. The report shows that RBS invested £27.5million ($46m) in community work in 2001 – £21m in cash and £6.5m in kind.
