New indicators plan from BAA

The company that owns Heathrow Airport has decided to develop a set of social performance indicators next year.

BAA Heathrow has outlined the plan in its first combined environment and community report.

Managing director Roger Cato said the company ‘will be developing objectives and key performance indicators in the areas of community support, consultation and employee involvement’.

These will be set alongside BAA Heathrow’s existing environmental indicators.
