Mining companies are 'among best'

Anglo American and Rio Tinto have been identified by a UK institutional investor as ‘among the leading companies of any sector with regard to their CSR performance’.

ISIS Asset Management makes the assessment in a report that details how it engaged with 265 companies on CSR issues in the last quarter. The judgement is based partly on meetings held with the UK-based mining and extraction companies.
