McDonald’s Brazil has issued its first social report.

The fast food chain, which has 36,000 employees in the country, spent a year drawing up the 54-page document.

Around 3500 copies of the full report will be distributed to government authorities, non-governmental organizations, journalists and opinion formers, while a condensed eight-page version, also on the web, has been sent to staff in Brazil.

The report identifies 49 community projects run or sponsored by the company.
