Marc Saperstein has become vice president of corporate citizenship at General Electric in the US. He will oversee the company’s philanthropic and volunteer work, including the GE Fund, which contributed around $120million (£74m) to community and educational institutions last year. Saperstein, who has worked in the group for more than 30 years, was previously senior vice president of human resources at GE Capital.
