Drinks firm gives alcohol warning

Responsible drinking messages have been introduced on some alcoholic drinks produced by Allied Domecq as part of the drinks company’s strategy to demonstrate that it is a ‘socially responsible manufacturer’ which takes ‘a leadership position in the industry’.

In parts of Europe and South America, Ballantine’s whisky and Tia Lusso, a new liqueur, now carry messages urging customers to drink in moderation. Beefeater gin and Teacher’s whisky are among other brands that will bear them at a later date.
