Canadian energy company Enbridge has pledged to adopt a set of human rights standards. The move follows a recent shareholder resolution put forward by Real Assets Investment Management and Meritas Mutual Funds, which was withdrawn after the company made its pledge. Enbridge, which has operations in Colombia, says it will discuss how to implement the standards with the investors concerned.
